ABWW Hater of the Day: Toure

Toure is a black journalist I used to enjoy until I hears some the insane things he has posted on his twitter account. Toure is married to a Lebanese woman and I say power to him, but when he starts trying to wax poetic with his ideas about revolutionary seduction tactics employed by black female slaves to control their massas, it is obvious he has drank some serious black woman hating kool aid. He stated that systematic rape and tourture of black women during slavery was actually “a cunning and brilliant way to use their bodies to gain liberation. Of course some of them were raped, but some of them were sharp enough to trade that good-good for status and liberation ” WTF? Read any slave narrative by a black woman and you will see that this fool is busy projecting his image of the hypersexual black women who survived in order for him to live on this planet.

But wait it gets worse, in another session he accused black women who are concerned with the alarming disproportion of black men out-marrying at rate that far outstrips black women as in league with the KKK. Although the fact that I am one of the 70% of educated black woman constantly demonized by black and mainstream media, my education gives me the resources to fight the type ignorance that seeks to correlates black women with a terrorist group who raped us for their Saturday night ya-ya’s. This fool then stated that his cousin had hijacked his twiiter account when ABW’s and our supporters got his case. Here are copies of his tweets

What on earth is it with these brothers who devolve into this kind of twisted logic? Are their minds being snatched? Is it because they are so near to the Massa themselves, that they lose sight of themselves? I have to do a post on these “revolutionary brothers” who date and marry out of their race, which in and of itself is nothing big. But when they then start letting a guilt complex break them, and they start blaming their choices on black women, or start saying things like black women had true power over massa in slavery times, and were self liberating, then I have to say “whoa”, what’s going on with all of this?

What’s obviously going on is these revolutionary brothers are guilt ridden because they know that they aren’t truly revolutionary. If they were, then they’d learn how to be in a relationship with a black woman, and overcome every damned thing that comes against black relationships and make it work IN SPITE of it all. That is a TRUE revolutionary!
Black man, Toure, revolutionary brothers, black women need YOU, and you know it, and no amount of this strange twisted rhetoric will absolve you of your own guilt when you marry or date outside your race and claim to be revolutionary, or at least liberation minded.
Oh, I just did a Wikipedia about him. I understand now.

I have you in my blogroll, and I see you’re at the Afrospear as well. Keep up the good work!

I hear ya. If you marry outside the race then please be quiet about the women you leave behind. Tore is married to a Lebanese woman, their children will never be mistaken for white. How does he explain this to her when she Googles him one day? Does he includes his mother’s ancestors when he likens black women to sluts?
